Edition Notes
Holograph, signed.
William Lloyd Garrison describes the severe illness of his sister-in-law Mary Benson. She is being treated by a homeopathic doctor, Dr. Wesselhoeft, who is the friend of Dr. Follen. Garrison wants George Benson to see Mary in case this proves to be her last sickness. Brother James is low in spirits. The first number of Knapp's Liberator was issued yesterday; the articles are scurrilous.
