Edition Notes

Holograph, signed.

Edward Morris Davis is sending a few remaining samples [of printed matter?] which he hopes "may be instrumental in enlightening our countrymen."

In the postscript, Edward M. Davis praises "the enlightened zeal of your New England Anti Slavery," and wishes that his "dead city" could feel more of its influence.
