Edition Notes

Holograph, signed.

William Lloyd Garrison thanks Isabella Mack Hinckley for the photograph of her father, David Mack. Garrison says the photograph "will be added to the gallery of my departed friends whose esteem I counted it an honor to possess, and for whom I shall ever cherish the most affectionate remembrance." Garrison quotes a poem by Henry Wadsworth Longfellow about death.
