Edition Notes
Holograph, signed.
This letter is concerned with the dates for the Pennsylvania and Ohio Anti-Slavery Societies' anniversary meetings. William Lloyd Garrison would like to lecture on slavery in Pittsburgh, but he knows no one there. His recent trip to Vermont was pleasant and highly successful. He likes visiting no part of the country as much as Pennsylvania and feels a special attachment to progressive Quakerism. James and Lucretia Mott are in excellent health. Garrison received an interesting letter from Mary Grew.
