William Lloyd Garrison went with Oliver Johnson to Amesbury to see John Greenleaf Whittier. Garrison discusses purchasing a berth on board the Cunard liner "Cuba" for Bishop Daniel Alexander Payne, a colored man. The World's Anti-Slavery Conference in Paris has been postponed. He wants J.
