Mrs. Alcott told Sarah Russell May that they could not have Mr. Alcott's room because the landlord has rented the basement room to a physician. But the Needle Woman's Friend Society are vacating their rooms; they have the lease until February 15th,and they are available for the cost of $1 a day. Mr. May has offered to come everyday to make a fire in the stove, and Sarah Russell May and Mrs. May (mother-in-law?) are happy to take their turn in keeping shop.
Accompanied by an envelope with the delivery address: Miss Anne W. Weston, Weymouth, Mass.
Also includes an admission ticket to Faneuil Hall for 1849. The date "1849" is printed on the ticket. Handwritten on the ticket is this information: "Admit. Faneuil Hall. Season. No Transfer." It is signed A.W.W., signifying Anne Warren Weston.
