Edition Notes
Holograph, signed.
William Lloyd Garrison has been invited by the Rev. Claudius Bradford to lecture in Montague. Since Garrison has already promised to go with Samuel May to Cummington, he does not know if he is able to travel to both Montague and Cummington. Additionally, Garrison's aunt is very ill and should her dissolution take place, he may not be able to travel. Garrison writes: "The Transcript, as you will see by the Liberator, basely refuses to let me be heard in reply to 'Sigma.'!"
