Edition Notes
Holograph, signed.
Samuel May, Jr., says the thermometer is two degrees below zero in State Street, Boston. He gives dates and the means of transporting copies of the Liberty Bell, Bazaar Gazette, and annual reports to England. He tells of new donations and asks about a frame for the portrait which is going to be sent to the Paton family. He asks if Anne Warren Weston is sending her article for next week's paper [the Liberator?]. William Lloyd Garrison "is an accomplished proof reader. The trouble is to get Y[errinton] to make the corrections, after the proof reader has printed them out."
