Edition Notes
B2 missigned 'B'; author supplied by H&L which gives the general title as : 'Democratic Principles illustrated by example'.
The DNB records that Cobbett's monthly tract entitled 'The Censor', begun in Philadelphia in January 1796, was discontinued after eight numbers, and its place occupied by 'Porcupine's Gazette', a daily newspaper, which ran from March 1797 till the end of1799', hence, apparently, his use of the pseudonym 'Peter Porcupine'.
