An edition of Outward Bound (1957)

Outward Bound

This book contains 13 chapters about the origin, aims, history and achievement of the Outward Bound Trust from its origin in 1941 to 1956. The contributors were closely involved in the Trust, and their essays were compiled and edited by David James, himself a member of its Executive Committee.

The Trust is an independent, non-profit making international organisation that up to 2012 had provided adventurous outdoor learning experiences for more than one million young people.
