Issued together with an album of engraved plates depicting items numbered 1-716. Some of the images have a copyright date of 1873.
CHMRB copy 39088016107039 has stamp on back paste-down endpaper: Removed from the collection of the Museum of the City of New York. A partially legible handwritten inscription appears on the front free endpaper: From Dora J. [illegible], Mount Kisco, NY. There are a few brief ms. pencil annotations (e.g. price changes) throughout.
CHMRB copy has a contemporary printed purple paper wrapper; tipped in at the back of a later old blind-stamped burgundy cloth album with blue endpapers.
