According to the British Museum Catalogue, George Vivian's Some illustrations of the architecture of Claverton, and the Duke's House, Bradford forms part 2 of this work. However, Weale's advertisements from the late 1830s list the two works independently.

Cover-title: Richardson's Elizabethan architecture.

This edition contains those plates listed as belonging with the "First Series" and lacks the 8 plates from Wendel Dietterlin's 'Architectura'.

Frontespiece incorporates a facsimile of a drawing by Robert Pyte.
