Boston Public Library (Rare Books Department) copy bound in early sheepskin panelled in gilt with rolled board edges. The spines are panelled and tooled in gilt with red and black labels (many of which have detached and are missing). All text block edges are sprinkled red. The armorial bookplate of Sir. Peter Thomspon, F.R.S, with the motto, "nil conscire sibi" is present on all front pastedowns, and the autograph of A. Anderson appears at the head of all title pages.
