This volume includes [1]: The Dutchesse of Malfy: a tragedy ... / by John Webster -- [2]: Appius and Virginia: a tragedy / by John Webster -- [3]: The white Devil, or, The tragedy of Paulo Giordano Vrsini, duke of Brachiano ... / written by John Webster -- [4]: North-VVard hoe ... / by Thomas Decker and John Webster. The armorial bookplate of the Barton Library is present on the front pastedown. This copy is bound-in with early, unprinted brown wrappers with the title in manuscript. The edges have been excessively trimmed, resulting in some loss of text and almost all signature registration. A partially legible autograph on the verso of K ́reads, "Walter [...]"
