An edition of Inspirations from Heaven's Gate (2013)

Inspirations from Heaven's Gate

She writes through the whispered power of the Holy Spirit. She wants to write about the beauty and simplicity of life and reveal the beauty of Christ to the broken and lost souls of humanity. She has been given the ability to write simply and honestly from the heart so it is understandable. She believes writing is a language of the heart and is a beautiful way to share one's innermost feelings.
I want to allow God's light to shine through all the broken places in my life. One heart at a time I want to reach the spiritually disconnected and introduce them to Jesus through my writing so living an ordinary life is no longer an option. I want to share my daily struggle to represent God in my everyday life. I want them to realize they are not alone. We are in this struggle together.

Excerpts

TENDER WARRIOR

My son, my son
You started off fitting perfectly into my arms.
You and I meant the world to each other.
You look like your daddy; so perfectly formed.
Your smile brightened the day
I pulled you up and steadied you as you began to walk.
Eventually you would run up to get a hug or to hide from the world.

My son;
I am sorry that the world is so cruel towards such a precious and tender soul.
Each day you are growing bigger and stronger.
Soon my tender warrior you will want to take up your cross and challenge the world.
Here is the question at hand; Am I ready to let go of you?
You are like heavens treasure.
Am I ready to let mankind pollute your soul?
Inch by inch you are slipping through my fingers.
I feel the distance growing between us everyday.
There is no force on Earth that can stop it.
I cry in silent agony.
There are choices that you alone will have to make.
I pray that you are strong enough to make them.
The choices of today will make your future bright or dim.
It is completely up to you I cannot help.
Everyone around me says to “let him go”.
If I don’t you will become ineffective in your life.
I can only cover you with prayer daily and hope that you realize the power and strength only the Lord can provide.
I wonder; will I be given the strength to release my tender warrior to the world?

“As for God, his way is perfect; the word of the Lord is flawless. He is a shield for all who take refuge in Him. For who is God besides the Lord? Who is the rock except our God? It is God who arms me with strength and make my way perfect. He makes my feet like the feet of the deer; He enables me to stand on the heights. He trains my hands for battle; my arms can bend a bow of bronze. You give me Your shield for victory, Your right hand sustains me; You stoop down to make me great. You broaden the path beneath me so that my ankles do not turn.”
Psalms 18:30-36(NIV)
