With Eternal Verse the poet uses words in carefully crafted poems to express and explore what it is to enter and exist in heaven. In vivid language he engages the reader in descriptions of what was always considered by most western theologians to be ineffable. In this depiction of paradise the author presents a unique and personal point of view, yet he remains faithful to the Catholic Church's teachings on heaven in its Magisterium. This astounding volume of verse is a voyage through the fantastic realm of our eternal end.

Excerpts

Of Two In Paradise

When the silver fountains sigh
To the paradisial sky
Eloquently, majestically,
I shall gaze into your ebony eyes
As the snow descends upon your jet-black hair
And your face so astonishing,
Astonishingly fair.

The castle by the sea
Where the azure currents rise
With the grace of an angel's wing
Is a witness to our ardor there.

And as the pines, wrapped in a breeze
Of blue and velvet rhapsodies
Shake their perfumes upon your dress,
I shall find ecstasy in your feminine caress
And our kiss shall recite The Angelus.

Moonlight

When the purple veils of night
Are opened by the wings of angels,
And all of heaven's citadels
Are revealed in diamond-hued light,
The lilies of the bower
Find their splendid, majestic hour
In the umbrage of the vine-clad tower.

And the grasses which sway
Beneath our naked knees
Find refuge in the fallen leaves,
Surrounded by the starlit bay,
And the lapping play of azure seas.

Their billows rise and rove in a splendid array,
Where the rose of the nascent moonlight weaves
Its solemn, scarlet ecstasies.
