Oliver Johnson informs William Lloyd Garrison of an unexpected visit that morning from G(eorge) W(illiam) Benson that morning, whom Johnson states is presently heading West, and is in rather poor health. Johnson states that Benson asked him to visit Brooklyn on July 3rd, which he has concluded to do. Johnson closes that he will be back in Boston by July 4th, and plans to attend Garrison's celebration on July 5th.
