An edition of [Letter to] My Dear Friend (1865)

[Letter to] My Dear Friend

Grew writes to Garrison informing him that her original plans (relayed to Mr. Garrison by way of Grew's previous letter to Mrs. Garrison) to visit Cape Cod by way of Boston, & her intention to visit Garrison en route to ask for letters of introduction, having been appraised of his connections to the region by Mr. Marston Watson of Plymouth, have changed, as they now plan to travel to Nantucket first. She reports that she will therefore not see him until their return to Boston, & requests that he mail to them a few letters of introduction directed to the residence of their host in Nantucket, Mr. Edward Watson.
