William Cooper Nell writes William Lloyd Garrison concerning the commemoration of the life and death of Crispus Attucks, admitting that while his preparations for the event, and his subsequent expectations of it, fall short of his efforts for the previous year, he nonetheless expects that it will be an "interesting" occasion. Nell states his anticipation of Garrison's presence, and his hopes that Garrison will consent to offer a "few words" at his convenience.
