George C. Beckwith requests that Amos A. Phelps express his views concerning the subject matter of the circular on which Beckwith is writing. The circular states that ́the cause of Peace never received the attention it deserves,́ and that a meeting is called in Boston in May to inquire into the reason for this and to secure the supports the cause needs.
