In this letter to Amos A. Phelps, Lewis Tappan discusses the possibility of publishing Phelpśs letter in the "Union Missionary" rather than in the ́Recordeŕ as matter of convenience. He then makes suggestions regarding Phelpśs draft of the ́call,́ and gives his approval of the draft of the letter to ́King B.́ He then discusses the letter from Mr. Sturge. He promises to pay $150 Phelps soon.
