In this letter to Amos A. Phelps, Lewis Tappan encourages Phelps to work on the ́Bible Argument́ as far as his health allows. Tappan says that, if Phelps employees a person to write down his thoughts or aid him in any other way, the Executive Committee will pay for the expenses.
