Printed on antique laid papers with horizontal (turned) chainlines, vertical wire lines, and watermark present at head-/spine-edge. Title page includes embossed stamp of the Boston Public Library. Verso of title page includes annotations in pencil script. Rear pastedown includes affixed label (dated October 1884) of the Boston Public Library detailing circulation regulations, and ink stamp of the Boston Public Library Bindery dated "NOV 19 1884".
