Mommy and Daddy have overslept and now everyone is rushing to get ready. Mommy tells Caillou to hurry up and have breakfast while Daddy tells him to hurry up and get dressed. Caillou has no idea what to do.Things are moving too fast this morning!
In Hurry Up!, Caillou gets up and plays, just like most mornings. His world is calm and stable. As soon as he is confronted with his parents’ impatience, this peace disappears. He is confused from this stray from the norm. Caillou becomes agitated and scared. He starts crying from this turmoil. Caillou’s daddy reassures him and consoles him. Caillou feels his angst understood.
