Plot map shows property transfers and acreage for the area near Thomas Lincoln's disputed property near South Fork, Nolin River in Hardin/Larue County, Kentucky. Sinking Spring Farm was 348 acre farm along the South Fork of Nolin Creek purchased from David Vance by Thomas Lincoln in 1808. The title dispute came in 1813 when the original owner, Richard Mather, asserted a prior claim. This map was drawn by Louis A. Warren when researching his first book, Lincoln's parentage and childhood.
