Boston Public Library (Rare Books Department) copy bound in early calfskin panelled in triple-ruled gilt. The spine is rebacked, with original gold tooled panels and labels retained. The bookplate of the BPL Harris Fund is present on the front pastedown. A bookseller's description is tipped onto the recto of the frontispiece leaf. The perforation stamp of the Library is present on the title page. In this copy, the Chaucer plate is rebacked in bound-in as a frontispiece.
