This book outlines some of the major events and cultural themes of the first two decades of the 21st century. Topics covered include Technology and Life, Technology and Politics, A New Feminism, Civil Rights and Marriage Equality, Reality TV, Internet Based Activism, Social Justice Warriors vs Libertarians, and more. There is also discussion about the music, TV and movies in the 2000s and 2010s, as is obligatory for a book like this.

This book was written as a reference companion to my other books, especially the Princess’s Spirit novels, as my viewpoint of this period has deeply affected my writing. However, I believe it may also be interesting more generally as one ‘participant’ perspective on this period, written from just one of many possible viewpoints of having lived through this time.

Much of the content is taken from my other books. This is intended as a quick reference for those who do not wish to go through my other books.
