Boston Public Library (Rare Books Department) copy bound in ca. 19th-century brown pigskin tooled in blind. The title is stamped in gilt on the spine. The pastedowns are of modern vellum. The flyleaves are of early paper with a bull's head watermark. Present on the recto of the front flyleaf is an early inscription ("[illegible] historia sine authore"). The initial on [a1] is rubricated, with floral flourishes in brown ink. Initials and capitals are rubricated throughout with one initial in blue. Leaf dimensions: 29.4 x 21.5 cm, with many deckles intact. Manuscript waste sewing guards. The first leaf of each gathering is numbered in early manuscript. Acquired Feb. 9, 1939.
