A translation of "Chemisch-technische Untersuchungmethoden", originally written by Friedrich B©œckmann and published in 1884. It went through 3 editions; then a 4th ed. was published in 1899-1900 in which Georg Lunge acted as editor and apparently assumed prime responsibility. The English translation is of the edition published Berlin : Springer, 1904-1905, and known variously as the 5th ed. of B©œckmann and the 2nd ed. of Lunge.

Also published New York : Van Norstrand, 1908-1914.
