Includes two plates (engravings), with "WH Fecit" at lower right said to be by William Hogarth. The first plate, bound opposite the title page, depicts Perseus holding the head of Medusa; the body of Medusa is to his right, and Pegasus flys overhead. The second plate, bound between p. 4 and 5, depicts Perseus leaping from a cliff holding the head of Medusa; Andromeda chained in foreground; ocean with sea monster in background.
