A collection of eight poetic works (part 1) and four dramatic works (part 2), all of them published previously as separate works or as smaller collections. Part 1, as constituted here, first published [Geneva], 1594; part 2 first published [Geneva], 1597.

Title pages with illustrative borders; title page part 2 additionally with typographical ornament.

Title page part 1 reads: Georgii Buchanani Scoti Franciscanus et fratres. Elegiarum lib. I. Sylvarum lib. I. Hendecasyllabōn lib. I. Epigrammatōn lib. III. Quibus jam recens accedunt De sphaera libri V.

Title page part 2 reads: Georgii Buchananii Scoti Operum poëticorum pars altera: in qua Tragoediae sacrae et exterae.
