The report discusses the institution of a Lincolnshire lunatic asylum for paupers, which "must at once cause the removal of two-thirds of the patients", continuing that the original object of the Lincoln Lunatic Asylum was for "the insane of restricted means"

Consists of the report of the vice president (E.Ff. Bromhead), appendices (E.P. Charlesworth), a list of officers and subscribers, statistical tables, financial statements and a list of the asylum's official books.
