The asylum is located at Snenton, near Nottingham.

Consists of a list of the Committee of Visitors and officers, the report of the committee of Visitors (T.C. Cane), the report of the superintendent (Wm. P. Phillimore), report of the Commissioners in Lunacy (W.E. Frere, John D. Cleaton), a note on the fabric account, statistical tables and financial statements.

The asylum is also referred to as: "The Lunatic Asylum at Snenton, near Nottingham", "The County Lunatic Asylum" and "Nottingham County Asylum".
