This is a reissue of the sheets and plates of the 1608 edition with only the date changed on the title-page. All the title-pages are dated 1609 except Book IV, which is undated.
Illustrated with woodcuts, many full-page.
Bound in early 19th century marbled paper over board; polished calf spine with gilt and black rules and decorations; Signature of Jean Daniel Hermlietz [?] on title-pages, with date of 1768; signature of G. Schultz at foot of title page.
Library's copy misbound: leaves ii-iii from the second book are bound between leaves xiii-xiiii of the first book.
