Edition Notes

Vols. 1-4 have date 1644, v. 5 has 1645.

Each vol. has engraved main t.p., those of v. 1 & 5 by Cornelis Galle after Peter Paul Rubens. Some other t.p.'s engraved by Michel Lasne. Vol. 4 includes full-page maps of Sicily and southern Italy. Large medal-like woodcut ports. in v. 5 printed black and brown, highlights reserved in white.
