Translation, by Johann Christian Rodochs, of the author's: Verhandelinge van de opertatien ofte werkingen der medicamenten ins̀ menschen lighaam, printed in Amsterdam, 1690.
Pages 52-72 contain a letter by Dionysius van der Sterre dated Curacao October 9, 1688, concerning his experiences in the West Indies.
"Pharmacopoea, oder Apothecker-Bewölbe, gestellet nach der weise der heutigen verbesserten praxi", p. [305]-360, has divisional title page and contains recipes for prescriptions containing such plants as aloe, guaiac, and Peruvian balsam.
Elsewhere in the text are references to tobacco, snuff, peppers from Brazil, and acupuncture in China and Japan.
