Jeremiah Hadley (1777-1846) married Mary Hornaday, and their children were born in Guilford County, North Carolina. The family then moved to Hendricks County, Indiana. Jeremiah was a descendant in the fourth generation of Simon Hadley II, who immigrated from Ireland to Delaware. Descendants and relatives of Simon II and Jeremiah lived in Delaware, Pennsylvania, Indiana, Missouri and elsewhere.
