Hattie family memoirs

an account of the families descended from Alexander Hattie, émigré of 1786, with sketches of the family pioneers and related material

Alexander MacHattie and two brothers, William and George, emigrated in 1786 from Scotland to Nova Scotia. Alexander dropped the "Mac" from his surname, settled in Pictou County, and moved to Guysborough County, Nova Scotia. Descendants lived in Nova Scotia and elsewhere in Canada. Some descendants immigrated to New England and elsewhere in the United States.
