Brunet counts 18 plates plus frontispiece portrait; Mauban lists titles of 12 plates.
LC copy is a compilation of 48 leaves of plates (including 2 torn stubs), apparently trimmed and bound in Germany in the 18th(?) century. Title page wanting. Frontispiece signed by Chauveau; most plates signed by Marot, some by Le Pautre. Mounted plan signed: A.L. Houdin, architecte du roy. Last plate, architectural decoration and ornament, signed: P. Landry. Some plates are pasted together, some mounted, many folded. Purchased from Ludwig Rosenthal's Antiquariat, Munich, about 1930-1935.
