Boston Public Library (Rare Books Department) copy G.356.16 bound by Matthews in red goatskin panelled and tooled in gilt. All text block edges gilt. Bookplates of Samuel Latham Mitchill Barlow and BPL on front pastedown. Names of authors written at the beginning of most essays in an early hand. "C.P. Ripley" written in pencil in the lower margin of ℗øH2. Both blank leaves (a1 and ℗øa1 wanting. Purchased from the Barlow sale in 1889 (lot no. 897).
