Led by the inexorable Ginger, the rebellious chickens at the Tweedy Egg Farm boldly embark on one escape mission after another. One day, when Rocky the Rooster, a brash American "lone free ranger" crash-lands into the chicken coop, the chickens figure he can teach them to fly out. They hatch an exciting scheme to escape for freedom.
