The tale of a beauty, a stalwart knight, and a pickpocket known as the Mouse, based on thirteenth-century legends. Once the knight and the lady were lovers; now, because of the curse of the all-powerful Bishop, by day she is a hawk, by night he is a wolf. With help from the Mouse, the knight seeks to break into the Bishop's stronghold and end the spell.
