"As long as we don't learn how to melt the ice in our hearts the world will not change. And if the world doesn't change we are at the mercy of the melting ice on the North- and Southpole." Thus speaks Angaangaq, shaman of Greenland. Born in Greenland in a time of ecological crisis and climate change, the elders of his tribe gave Angaangaq the mission to spread the spiritual message of the Inuit. This mission has led him to forty countries on five continents in the past thirty years. Angaangaq inspires us to engage with ourselves and others in a more loving way and to live in harmony with nature.
This book consists of short thematic texts about several subjects like: give and take, silence, praying, healing, plants and animals, family, friendship, sexuality, the seasons and ceremonies.
The name Angaangaq means 'He who looks like his uncle'. He is a shaman, elder, healer, storyteller, carrier of the qilaut (wind drum) and wisdom keeper from one side of the world to nthe other. Christoph Quarch made it possible for Angaangaq to put his spiritual message into a book.
