"El rey=muy reverendo en Christo padre arzobispo de la iglesia metropolitana de La Plata, en la provincia de Charcas de mi consejo: ...", p. 54-56, is a real cédula issued by Carlos III, and is dated and signed: "De Aranjuez á diez de abril de mil setecientos sesenta y nueve. Yo el rey. Por mandado del rel nuestro señor=Nicolas de Mollinedo". It is followed on p. 56-63 by certifications issued by archbishop of La Plata, the fiscal of La Plata, and the Real Audiencia of La Plata.
