MASS copy 1: Bound in purple pebble-grain cloth blocked in gold and blind. Boards with bevelled edges; a.e.g. Spine signed "AW" [i.e. Albert H. Warren]. With binder's ticket: "Bone & Son, 76 Fleet St., London".

MASS copy 2-3: Bound in red morocco-grain cloth blocked in gold on both covers, in the same design as copy 1, with the same spine design signed "AW". Boards with bevelled edges; a.e.g. Copy 2 with the bookplate of Lewis Balfour, Merchant, Calcutta.

MASS copy 4: Bound in brown morocco blocked in gold in the same design and with the same signature as copies 1-3. Boards with bevelled edges; a.e.g. Board turn-ins blocked in gold. With pale pastel yellow glazed endpapers. With bookplate: "Ex Libris F. E. Dinshaw". With bookplate: "Ex Libris Percival F. Hinton".
