The four Buckley siblings, Kat, Jack, Robbie and Hollie, have been left ‘home alone’ whilst their parents are on an important mission on the other side of the world. So far quite safe and settled in their hidden home in the woods, their lives are soon to be disrupted by a mysterious stranger who threatens to discover their secrets. Not only do the youngsters have to cope with managing their day to day lives without their mum and dad, they now have to cope with the intrusion of this strange and curious man. Fortunately for them they have the help and companionship of their loyal pet dog, Rufus, as well as their intuitive pet lizard, Lennie, who has a mysterious relationship with the animals that live in the beautiful woodland off the stunning North Yorkshire coast. But who is this stranger and why is he so curious about their lives? Will they manage to keep their secrets under cover until their parents return?
