Jubilee Terrace is one of the most popular soap operas on television. When Vernon Watts, aka Bert Porter, one of the longest-standing members of the cast, dies suddenly of a heart attack, the show's bosses decide to bring back the notorious Cyril Wharton, played by the equally infamous Hamish Fawley, for a major plot-line, despite the disapproval of the remaining cast.
