PAUL, in his epistle to the Galatians, chap. v. 16, had this saying: 'Walk in the spirit, and ye shall not fulfil the lusts of the flesh;' and in his epistle to the Romans, chap. viii. 13, he had this saying, "If ye live after the flesh, ye shall die: but if ye through the spirit do mortify the deeds of the body, ye shall live."
