Includes correspondence, instructions on missionary conduct, reports, memos, account books, some Aleut translations, and demographic charts of the native tribes in the Unalaska Islands (Generalʹnai͡a︡ vi͡e︡domostʹ o chisli͡e︡ zhiteleĭ Ostrova Unalashki). Papers also include Veniaminov's journals from the years 1823-1836 which he variously describes as Putevoĭ zhurnal or Zhurnal svi͡a︡shchennika Īoanna Venīaminova--Unalashka. In addition are included some papers concerning his appointment as priest in the church built by the Russian American Company.
