Edition Notes

"[This] unfinished story is the third in the collection of ten fragments known as Tsutsumi chūnagon monogatari. 'Tsutsumi chūnagon', 'the Counsellor of the embankment', was Fujiwara no Kanesuke, who lived at the beginning of the tenth century. But linguistic experts say that the stories cannot be earlier than the twelfth."
"This edition is limited to 550 copies of which 50 signed copies are printed on hand-made paper, specially bound, numbered 1-50. This copy is number 219."
